Yes, certainly in UK, in large numbers. I tended a rural allotment in Kent in the mid-1970's. A small feral population of Rose-ringed Parrots a.k.a Indian
Ringneck was established in a nearby wood with several trees old enough to provide nest hollows. Birders came out to this location to see a 'rarity'. It was generally believed that the first serious winter would see them gone. Not so. The large flock as they flew twice-daily over the allotment in subsequent years, calling loudly, was drowned only by deafening flights of Concorde. One crashed, the ringnecks did not. Pete Cranston
