Good morning,

In the coming months I am hoping to conduct a number of surveys of birds which are typically difficult to locate using typical means (eyeball, binoculars) due to their habitats comprising of obscuring vegetation.  One such example would be the regularly heard but rarely seen stubble quail.  Other examples are during times when the birds may be present but do not call due to seasonality, time of day or species behaviour.

As such I am hoping to acquire a thermal visual aid but hoping to first gain advice from anyone on what brands would be considered good but also affordable.

Kind regards, Ben
