Hi
I replaced a rosella box which had been occupied by a possum and wrapped the tree truck.
A pair of eastern rosellas have shown interest. The male sits outside and communicates to its mate inside. When the female comes out he feeds her then they leave.
Is this inspecting hollow or nesting?
Is it normal for them to leave the hollow unguarded?
Stewart
