Early Monday morning there were about 40 flying over North Watson towards Mt
Majura. They were not noisy. I noticed quite a bit of wood shavings on
various parts of Majura in the last few days.

A friend we met for coffee yesterday morning said that she had seen what she
estimated as a flock of 100+ YTBCs while she was riding along the bikepath
paralleling the Molonglo between Scrivener Dam and Weston. She showed us a
video she had shot with her phone which substantiated the numbers.

Then, while we were sitting outside at Coolamon Court having coffee around
11am, there was a flypast of a couple each of FA18 and F35 jets, and this
disturbed what was presumably the same flock, which seemed to have been
feeding in the nearby conifers, and they all came flying past in the
direction of Hindmarsh Drive.
