Dependent on suitable weather and fuel moisture conditions, ACT Parks and Conservation will look to commence a small ecological burn tomorrow Wednesday 29th of May:

Location

Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve: UBD Map 60, C3. Handy Reference 2 Dairy Rd Fyshwick;-35.315306 S, 149.161486 E

Reason for Burn

Ecological outcomes. To reduce the exotic grasses and encourage native sedges and reeds. The area is Latham Snipe habitat. Enhance bird habitat areas.
