There was a recent request for sightings of Koel chicks. I found one yesterday in Kambah, and confirmed that it was being fed by a Red Wattlebird. It looked recently fledged and was not in a nest. I photographed an adult Koel in the same area last weekend,  which makes me curious whether they keep a watch on their progeny.

Recorded in ebird.
