After weeks of seeing few birds, especially small birds, in my GBS precinct, life has suddenly picked up somewhat.

Yesterday a mixed feeding flock of six species; during the week on two occasions Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos with begging (but ignored) young demolishing my Banksia; and today two groups of Superb Parrots totalling 13 birds with begging young being fed.

Also the fledgling Koel is getting bold and flying around after its foster parents.
