I would imagine that the restricted access relates to the fact that the area is grazed by cattle, including mothers with young calves at times, and that the farmer is concerned about this.

So why has the faceless ACT Government decided to restrict access?

Hi all,

I went for a walk down to Shoveler Pond, East Paddock at Jerra Wetlands this morning to check how much water was in it, it is full. I also noted a new sign on the cattle yard. It looks like it is a no go zone now but I would like to state that if anyone sees me in the paddock I do have permission to enter from the lease holder.
