Fairy Martins arrived in early August. Quite a few sighted at the Wetlands.

There is a heap of them circling around, as I type, over the area to the north of Kelly’s swamp, up quite high with welcome swallows.

Last Monday, 21 August, we counted at least 25 tree martins just over the swamp itself. It seemed like they were everywhere.

No sign of fairy martins yet though.
