⛔ The annual Red Rocks cliff closure in Bullen Range Nature Reserve will be in place from 1 August to 31 December to protect Peregrine Falcons 🦅 during their breeding season. ⛔
This impressive species is very people-shy in its breeding season 🐤🐝 – The slightest disturbance (from prying eyes or prying cameras) can be enough to deter courtship or abandon nests. 🐣
After a few years of wet weather also challenging egg incubation, it’s especially important to give these birds some peace and quiet to do their thing.
