Yesterday at Lake George I observed a Sub adult? actively hunting for about 15 minutes. The bird has a full crop so I suspect it was not hunting to feed itself. Doing some reading I assume this bird is about 4 Years old but I read that they don't breed until about 6 Years of age? Would this bird be breeding at this age?
