COG members and chat line subscribers may not be aware that the incredible Birdlife Australia film about shorebirds is being screened at the Dendy Cinema Canberra this Tuesday 16 May, followed by a Q&A with the director.  https://birdlife.org.au/news/world-premiere-of-flyways/

 

A friend saw it in Sydney last week and said it was breathtaking, and aims to galvanise action to prevent the Toondah Harbour development on Ramsar wetlands from going ahead. She said hearing first hand from the director about the stimulus and challenges to make it added an extra dimension.
