Well worth a visit every now and then. I note that 72 species have been seen by eBirders at those wetlands.

The reconstructed billabong in Lower Narrabundah now has a series of well-vegetated ponds.  Not a lot of birds, though, a few ducks, coots, moorhens etc. This morning I saw yet another lunge by a water rat at a coot, this one evaded with an explosive leap by the coot.   The best ponds are the couple nearest re-entry to Jerra Creek, near the old Mill Flat playing field.
