This morning (Sat 18th) I turned the radio on at about 4.30am, and Rod Quinn on ABC was talking with Peter Kaestner. Peter is a guide with Rockjumper tours, which I know some Canberra birders travel with, to places all over the world. Really interesting, and
delighted that Phil Maher got a mention when he talked about Australian birds. Rod's program goes up as a podcast in about 24 hours, so if you're interested you should be able to listen to it in a day or so. It was a lengthy interview - not sure how much of
the start I missed, but it went to 5am
