Another issue with the article is that the 'Asian Koel' (Eudynamys scolopaceus) doesn't occur on mainland Australia - though there may be a few vagrant records for the species. Our bird is E. orientalis. common name Pacific or Eastern Koel depending
on one's preferred taxonomy.
