Interestingly eBird has 803 records in East Gippsland alone! Of those 192 were recorded in 2022 (I have defined a record as an occurrence at a nominated site on a day, so there might be
birds counted more than once if people used personal locations rather than hotspots, but I suspect the same would apply to Birdata).)
