I don’t know the area well, but it seems that there are a few issues here that need separating.
First, the Lobbs Hole Track that Sue is describing appears unrelated to (and distant from) the ICON offset site.
Second, Sue’s previous access track appears to traverse leased land not public land. If that’s correct, the lessee would appear to be within their rights to restrict access, unfortunate though that is for birders. An entry route to the reserve
from a different direction may be needed.
Clarification of the latter from someone familiar with the local lie-of-the-land would help.
