Good morning everyone

It is that time of year when I turn my mind to field trips for the first half of 2023.  This year, just 25 people (out of a membership of about 400) led field trips!! Many thanks to those generous members, including some who are still at school.

If you would be willing to lead an outing, please contact me.   A few things to consider:
  • you do not need to be an experienced birder to lead an outing. There are always plenty of others to help you on the day
  • it is always good to go somewhere new or to a place that hasn't been visited for several years
  • most outings are held on a Sunday but Saturday is equally fine
  • outings can be just a morning (usually better than afternoons), a whole day, a weekend or long weekend, mid-week or even an extended trip (up to 11 days with 3 different venues in the past)
I am happy to discuss ideas with you so please email, or talk to me at this Wednesday's COG meeting.

Many thanks
Sue Lashko
