John, as I’ve documented in my August 2022 Gang-gang column, the Olive-backed Oriole has overwintered again this year, as it has for each winter, usually but not always singly in small numbers, over at least the past 15 years while I have been writing this column.  Jack Holland

It could also be an overwintering bird. There are some that do and at my place in Symonston they have overwintered for at least the last 9 Years. There has been one calling including mimicry  for at least a Month now. A quick snap I took an hour or so ago.
