The Majura Woodland June survey was conducted over two days, June 26 and 29th. Weather was cool and fine with light winds on both days. No mixed feeding flocks were encountered on either day and small bird numbers were correspondingly low. Highlights included: a Brown Goshawk which was seen twice (once on site 3 and once between sites). A small group of Superb Parrots on site 2 and numbers of Australian Wood Ducks checking out nesting hollows on sites 1, 2, and 3. Other woodland birds recorded included Grey Butcherbird, both Pardalotes, Brown Thornbill, Silvereye, and White-eared Honeyeater. 25 species were recorded over the 9 sites.
