Australian Crake in the concrete drain next to the bike track running between Schlick Street and Alexandria Dr today around 4.20pm

Strange sighting because it’s an almost completely bare concrete drain. The crake was picking its away along the drain flicking its tail. When it became aware it was being watched it scooted up the near vertical side of the drain in under the low boughs of a small oak.
