As many would be aware ABC RN’s wonderful program, Ann Jones’ “Off Track”, has been terminated.

Ann now presents “What the duck!” https://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/what-the-duck/ :

Australia is full of weird plants and animals. And Dr Ann Jones is on speaking terms with most of them!

Each week Ann explores the most unusual elements of our natural world — the ones that make you go What the Duck?! Like why do quolls have spots? Who farts (and who doesn't)? And how do snakes climb trees?

Join Ann alongside experts and ordinary Aussies alike to solve mysteries, smash myths and uncover the bizarre truth about nature down under.

Airs Saturday 5.30am Repeated: Sunday 1.30pm, Thursday 11.30am

Listen for free on your mobile device on the ABC listen app, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts or your favourite podcast app.

The first program was released today and it features our own Peter Fullagar and Ripper the Musk Duck, among other fascinating content.

Highly recommended - David
