Koel being fed in Featherstone Gardens

This morning – begging Koel fed by Red Wattlebird in Featherstone Gardens. The Koel looked very much like the one in the lovely photograph taken by Bill. Thanks Bill.

Many thanks Bill, that’s No 39 for the season that I’m aware of, reports have slowed down significantly over the past week.

 

This includes 8 in my local area of Chapman/Rivett, though no new ones for the past 10 days.  Interestingly the first one I found was still begging very loudly from an exposed position last night 24 days after I first located it.

Hello COG list members,

 

I saw this Koel yesterday after hearing it calling in my back yard.  It's still around this morning being fed by two red wattlebirds and harassed by several noisy miners.
