Hi all
I was just at Franklin Pond this morning and there were multiple White-plumed Honeyeaters present. Just checked eBird and White-plumes are often reported there.

I went around to find this bird/these birds yesterday evening. I saw one bird in the north-eastern corner of the pond feeding in a casuarina at the entrance to the walkway across the pond. However it was calling, so presumably the other bird was about.

I was wondering why a vagrant like this has survived and persisted here for over a year, and as I wandered around the whole pond I noted that there didn't seem to be any resident White-plumed Honeyeaters. If there were presumably they would have chased the intruder away.
