Haha, David. This is a tricky one that also applies to small furry dogs. I have tried picking out the individual seeds and prickles from my small furry dog - which is a tedious business as she and l go for a good walk every day. Lately I have softened
the seeds and prickles by wetting the woofer down and then combing the seeds out. Helps a fair bit, though needless to say the woofer is unimpressed with the wetting down. Might work for gaiter velcro too. A bit of soap might soften the seeds even more.
