A very interesting report, Archer. I can confirm the PE duck at a nest on the fence-line. I was there on Saturday 4 December. The nest appeared to have very small downy ducklings in it. Also HH grebes with a nest or two, as you say. I missed the Blue-billed Duck.

I've done my first ebird trip report (a new feature with great potential!) for our exploration of Wollogorang, Lake George, and Lake Rd on Sunday. Check it out below and I'd love some feedback.

Also want to draw attention to a probable Pink-eared Duck nest that Ned spotted along the inundated fenceline where the Painted Snipe was a few years ago - would be interested in follow up observations to confirm this as I don't think there are too many breeding records of them in our region. Hoary-headed Grebes are nesting there too and a male Blue-billed Duck is still present.
