My grandchild sent me this today.  I had just returned from a pleasant walk around Nerang Pool in Commonwealth Park where I had seen lots of wood duck families, three Great cormorants and a a mass of Fruit bats.

The bad thing was a VERY large flock of Noisy Miners in the trees on the Lake BG side of Nerang Pool.  I totally agree with Sue Taylor’s opinions about them.  They are so dominant and so aggressive to other birds as well as people.  Is there anything that can be done?
