I don't know if anyone else has reported this, but David Landon and I have just seen 60-odd of these birds on Lake George. Walk south from the far end of Anderson picnic area, through (round) two gates, keep going along lake shoreline. There
seem to be two spots where the birds are gathered, one maybe 400m from picnic area, the other a bit further away. Extraordinary sight!
Cheers, Jeannie Gray
