In  the distant past I have had reports of Dollarbirds nesting on Red Hill behind Garran.

I saw one over north Curtin horse paddocks a few weeks ago. Being pursued by raven. Have had them only  occasionally here but more recently (since retirement) every other year usually in spring. Certainly had immature with parents once in late summer. They’re fairly regular on Red Hill I believe perhaps they breed up there..
