On this lovely sunny morning after what seems like weeks of rain and penury, 18 newish and longer standing members came out to enjoy the bush and the birds.

Many thanks to Cathy and John for creating the Ebird list and for assisting us with spotting and hearing the birds.  There were 36 species including quite a few Leaden Flycatchers, a Grey Currawong calling, Spotted Pardalotes, White-naped, Yellow-faced and White-eared Honeyeaters,  a Yellow Thornbill and a Wedge-tailed Eagle to see us off the premises at 11am.

A photograph of those present, wearing masks, can be seen on the public facebook  - Bluetts Block Canberra ACT | facebook.

Report for Gang Gang forthcoming.

Jean
