The two highlights for me were:

1.The discovery on the Sutton Road of the Bulldozer Road in Kowen Forest. This is a new site for me and potential for dry woodland birds ( see eBird Kowen Forest- Sutton Road) . The main problem is parking is tricky and room for only one vehicle .  You need to back down the slope as there is a lot of heavy traffic.

2. A pair of Pallid Cuckoos in courtship flight at Molonglo Gorge Nature Reserve. They were in the paddock on the corner of Sutton Road and Kowen Road that goes into the reserve. The Reserve extends south  along Sutton Road as far as the Yass Road.
