Heard the first male call from my place in Higgins yesterday afternoon. Also heard a single call from a male at the end of Eyre Street, Kingston yesterday morning.

Male doing “koel” call in blossom tree off Empire Circuit Deakin.

Many Red Wattlebirds flying around it but apparently more interested in the nectar in the blossoms than in the Koel.
