We had a Koel on 30 Sept in 2020.

Your post about the first Koel prompted me to check eBird for early records of Koel in the ACT. There is only one record for September, that being back in 2012 and also on September 26 but in Barton. I also checked COG's Birdata which also indicates September sightings, but likewise very low.

and Unusual Sightings" is a recording of a Pacific (Eastern ) Koel from
