G’day all,

Pretty much every time I pass under the southern end of the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, there are Red-rumped Parrots hanging out on the stonework. Today I noticed a female perching vertically by a vertical crack between two blocks of concrete, and wondered if maybe they could be nesting in the crack? Does anyone know if this is something that Red-rumps do?

Best regards,

Brian Hawkins
