It has been - it looks like a month - since I saw these Swift Parrots, though I have only been to check about 5 or 6 times. Today at the Dr again, I heard one Swift Parrot call as I arrived at mid day, then when I went out 30 minutes later, 4 Swift Parrots did a sort of circuit fly over the car park, from near the Hungry Jacks, then flew straight over me and over the Kambah Medical Centre.

Subject: Swift and Superb Parrots of Kambah

I have only been out twice in the last week. To the same spots. On Thursday failed to find any Swift Parrots but there were about 10 Superb Parrots around the Jenke Circuit car park. Today about an hour ago, Just 2 Superb Parrots and just 2 Swift Parrots near the silt trap site. Took about 10 minutes to find them Lots more Rainbow Lorikeets than usual and the Noisy Miners trying hard but always unsuccessfully, to dislodge them (unlike with the Swift Parrots that they mostly ignored).
