Dear friends,

we are excited to invite you to our World Migratory Bird Day events tomorrow. First up at 5:30pm AEST on May 8th is the launch of 'Winaityinaityi Pangkara - The Country of the Birds', a film we produced for the Friends of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary.

Jeffrey Newchurch and Lynette Crocker, two elders integral to the establishment of Winaityinaityi Pangkara, the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary, reflect on the importance of this place to the Northern Kaurna people. You can watch the film on Facebook and YouTube.

At 6:00pm AEST on May 8th is the debut of the World Migratory Bird Day Virtual Choir, which we organised and produced in collaboration with the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership. Visit www.wmbdchoir.com to learn more. You can watch the performance on Facebook and YouTube (link will be active soon).

Look forward to seeing you in the live chats!

For anyone in Sydney (pending further Covid-19 restrictions), catch us at 3pm performing with Suara Indonesia Dance in a migratory shorebird collaboration as part of EDGE Greenway, and Inner West Council residency program. More info and location details at www.cicem.dance.

Happy World Migratory Bird Day :)

In other news...

We had an amazing time at the Broome Bird Observatory and in Darwin, performing two capacity concerts and getting a whole lot of beautiful migratory shorebird footage.

Invisible Connections, our online concert about migratory shorebirds, is still available to view on YouTube here.

Where Song Began is available on YouTube here or listen on Spotify here, iTunes here.

Best wishes,
Anthony Albrecht and Simone Slattery x
