Has the last Koel finally left?

I’ve just confirmed that the loud begging I could hear for several days in Rivett was from a Red Wattlebird fledgling.

So the final sighting that I’m aware of is a non-begging juvenile Koel in my garden on Monday 5 April.

Is anyone else still seeing Koels of any kind, or have very recent sightings?

Many thanks

Jack Holland
