Noting reports of Scarlet Honeyeaters in the south of the ACT and Burra I add my report of a brief visit this morning of a male bird. The bottlebrushes in the back garden are in flower and I was checking movement in one shrub when a Scarlet Honeyeater flew across to another where it fed briefly before flying off. This is a first for my garden. Margaret Robertson -- This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
