Relatively quiet at this time apart from regular honeyeaters and one probable bassian thrush . One surprise sighting was an owlet nightjar on the path running to the left of CSIRO fence in section 334 , about 150 m from a track to the left. It can be found occupying the mouth of a spout about 12 M above ground level on the left the path ,in a central position of whitish grey trunkedof gum tree clearly marked with a splash of distinctive orange colour.
