Azure Kingfishers

My husband and I were at Cotter yesterday afternoon and finally saw the
Azure kingfishers. We were walking downstream on the path from the
Thompsons Flat carpark.

Two were sitting together on a branch (between the concrete bridge and
weir) and the other photo is of a probable third a bit further down
stream. All locations were visible from the same spot but one of the two
birds flew a few moments before I located the 'third' bird. However, I
thought the second one had landed well short of the location of the
third one.
