In my retirement village in Braddon , early this morning , I did see one
immature bird feeding on a pistachio chinensis tree . Walking only about 20
metre to return with camera , alas it was gone , and there could have been more
.

By reports there seems to a lot around this year and these particular trees
also attract sulphur and gang gang cockatoos , as well as rosellas and king
parrots leaving a considerable mess on the footpaths, which the residents do
not seem to mind.
