Actually it could be a juvenile (as suggested by its mouth), so it could be a male.

Yes Female Common Blackbird. It is moulting, so rather untidy.

Does anyone know the ID of the bird?  I saw it on Mt Arawang in March 2013 and never did figure out what it was.
