Stubble Quail calling this morning on the Bullen Range Trail close to Kambah Pool.

Also saw Rainbow Bee-eaters for the first time this summer; same vicinity.

Walking through the waist high grass (overgrowing the paths) at Yarramundi Grasslands beside Lake BG on  Wednesday (9 Dec), we flushed first two Quail  (Stubble Quail, I think), and then a few minutes later a single bird.
