Two male Superb Parrots were feeding quietly in an elm upon which tiny leaves have just started to appear. I watched for 15 minutes but couldn’t ascertain what they were eating. They were still there when I left.

White butterflies have been flying rapidly through our area in groups of about 10, keeping some three metres above the ground and heading generally east. I couldn’t catch any for positive identification but believe they may be Caper Whites Belenois java. Would anyone care to comment?
