Hello subscribers

I’ve had a message that at about 4.00 pm yesterday a couple of birds were seen on the reserve near Mt Taylor (lower reaches adjacent to Gouger St) that may have been 1 or possibly 2 male Hooded Robins (unfortunately no photos are available – the birds were identified from a number of sources).

The position where the bird or birds was on timber rails next to a paddock for horses. It is possible to get there via the pathway next to 77 Gouger Street.

People may be interested to follow up this report - there were lots of other small birds around, such as yellow-rumped thornbills.
