Hi,

A member of the public who lives on the Bywong escarpment has reported finding a dead Swift Parrot believed to has broken it's neck on chicken wire surrounding the vegetable patch. It has been frozen and arrangements will be made for it to go to the Australian National Wildlife Collection at Gungahlin. The correspondent noted that birds use the escarpment as a flight path during migration. Image attached.

Regards,

bill Graham COG Secretary
