The hill is waiting for rain.  Trees planted after the 2002 fire on the north/eastern  side of the hill are struggling, and many have died and been foraged by birds (probably YT Black Cockatoos).

Small groups of Yellow-faced Honeyeater, Silvereye and Red-wattlebird are foraging from one tree to another in pines or gum trees.  Some of  the Yellow-faced Honeyeater and Red-wattle bird are flying over in groups. Very few small birds around on this cold morning.

Otherwise conditions are greener since the recent rain, and dams full with water.
