Hi all,
Just a reminder that COG is running pelagics from Eden on the 21st and 22nd of March. There are still plenty of places available on both days, so if you are interested please get in touch with me
I will be leading the trips on both days. March is an interesting time of the year when many summer seabirds are getting ready to leave and there’s always the chance of a rare bird on migration (over the years we have seen rarities such as Herald Petrel, Kermadec
Petrel and Great Shearwater from Eden in March). There are also two more COG pelagics from Eden in October (17th and 18th) for those interested.
The boat leaves at 7am each morning and usually returns by about 3pm. Cost is $130 per person, to be paid a month beforehand (refunded if you can’t make the trip provided we can find a replacement, or if the boat is cancelled due to bad weather).
Obviously, we will reconsider these trips in the event that the bushfires are a serious concern closer to the date.
I will soon advertise these trips more broadly, so let me know if you are keen!
Cheers,
Tobias
