Having a little time to fill in the Deepest North this morning I went to check the ponds. I recorded 17 species in about 20 drizzly minutes. That included 1 Lathams Snipe and the same
number of Black-tailed Native Hens as on my last two visits to the area about a year ago (0). Most other common waterfowl were present.
