The following map shows the SE distribution of Forest Raven as recorded by eBird.
Earlier this week some visiting birders from Bairnsdale and nearby areas (where the species is reasonably common) were confident they heard this species in Mallacoota and have recorded
it on birdata. I wouldn't doubt them: so the species is heading East and members of COG may wish to keep an ear open for the species when at such places as Green Cape or Eden (as well as Mallacoota),
